Every year in April IESF organizes a European Regional Meeting, which was initially planned to take place in Copenhagen this year. Due to the pandemic and the travel restrictions, IESF was forced to host an inspiring online meeting instead. The meeting brought together 20 countries with even more participants, involving dynamic discussions about the executive search industry. The main goals of this meeting were sharing, updating and introducing plans and ideas. IESF focuses on global knowledge and tools to facilitate partners worldwide. Sharing this information with all the partners worldwide enables our partner firms to increase their local business impact.
After a ‘Round the World’ update, IESF presented new initiatives such as:
- The formation of an IESF Advisory Board;
- The activities in the 6 different IESF Industry Groups for 2021 (Tech, Mobility, Manufacturing, Retail & FMCG, Life Sciences and Renewable Energy);
- The innovative and useful ideas from the IESF Brainstorming Group about Global Compensation Benefits and the focus on Sustainable Executive Search.
One of the meeting highlights was the ‘Consultant Exchange Plan’, which allows consultants of each IESF partner to temporarily work from another partner firm and country. IESF also shared the strategy on Partnership Development and Marketing for 2021.
