PRESS RELEASE, for immediate release
Montreal, the 1st of October 2018,
From September 17th to the 21st, the International Executive Search Federation (IESF) held its 16th annual AGM in Lyon, France.
Country managers from over 20 countries travelled to the Baulne region of France for 4 days of discussions on strategic development of the brand, international partner development initiatives and training sessions by speakers from all walks of the business and academic community.
The Global President of IESF M. Normand Lebeau, President and Chief Guardian of the Mandrake experience stated ‘’The AGM in Lyon was a complete success. In addition to the prestige of the venue, the quality of the speakers lined-up by our host, Valérie Desautels managing partner of Hommes et Entreprises, was impressive. We are building the expansion of our federation from its sound roots in Europe to the major economies of Latin America as well as Asia. The recent addition of partners in Mexico, Colombia and Chile is a statement of the results gained through our initiatives.
In 2019, Asia will be the focus of our efforts in that regard.
The AGM in Lyon was also my last one as Global President even though I will stay as a standing member of the leadership council of IESF. I am passing on my duties to the able hands of M. Victor Carulla from Barcelona, Spain. I wish Victor all the deserved success during the course of his Presidency’’.
The partners also decided in Lyon that the next European Conference will be held in April 2019, in Milan, Italy and that the next AGM will be held in Montreal, Canada, in September of the same year.
Founded in 2002 in Hong-Kong with more than 200 consultants represented in more than 80 offices around the world. IESF is now part of the select club of the 20 most important global executive search associations in the world.
